About the role
You’ll join Beryl’s engineering team and work on production applications, automation and system integrations for real businesses. You’ll start with guided work alongside senior engineers and take on more ownership as your judgment grows.
What you’ll do
- Build and improve features in web applications and APIs.
- Use AI-assisted tools for research, coding, testing and documentation—and critically review what they produce.
- Write tests, fix bugs and learn how production systems are monitored and supported.
- Work on integrations between business systems such as CRM and ERP platforms.
- Take part in code reviews and learn to explain the reasoning behind your technical decisions.
What we’re looking for
- A recently completed degree in computer science, IT, engineering or a related field.
- Strong fundamentals in programming, logic and problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Curiosity, and the discipline to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
Nice to have
- Personal, academic or open-source projects you can walk us through.
- Exposure to Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js or Python.
- A basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Hands-on experimentation with AI tools or LLM APIs.
What you’ll learn
- How production software is designed, built, deployed and operated.
- AI-assisted engineering—along with the judgment to validate its output.
- Business systems: CRM, ERP and workflow automation.
- Ownership of well-defined features, from understanding the requirement to delivery.
